IBM has proposed the use of blocking technology for the legal spread of marijuana in Canada. The corresponding document is published on the website of the government of the Canadian province of British Columbia.

The authorities are developing a legal framework for the legalization of non-medical consumption of marijuana. The new legislation will come into force in July 2018.
