A fierce dispute caused among residents and authorities of Como a bright and not very appropriate burial place, which dedicated to his deceased companion of life after 36 years of love Corrado Spanger, reports "ANSA". The grave, which appeared in the cemetery of Mariano Comense in Como, is a flower bed with the colors of phosphorescent yellow-blue hues, and is quite large.

Under the flower bed rests the body of 61-year-old Carlo Annoni, who died in April.

The deceased and his civil husband were active fighters for homosexual rights: when in Italy gay marriage was banned, two married in London, and when the law was passed at home, they re-signed in Italy.

Corrado believes that his lover would like to rest under such a tombstone, and not under a "dull gray marble". Local authorities are also considering the possibility of filing a lawsuit to obtain permission to demolish the provocative facility.
