Rada legally enshrined that the families of servicemen who died in ATO are provided with housing or compensation

The Verkhovna Rada adopted as a whole the bill No. 4995 on introducing amendments to the legislative acts of Ukraine on the provision of housing for servicemen and family members of servicemen who died in the performance of military service duties.

In addition, the draft law provides that the state provides military personnel with living quarters or, at their request, with monetary compensation for their proper use to obtain a dwelling premise on the grounds, within the limits of norms and in accordance with the requirements established by the Housing Code of the Ukrainian SSR, and in the manner determined by the Cabinet ministers of Ukraine.

Families of servicemen who took part in the ATO or ensuring its conduct, and died (died) or gone missing can rely on housing for funds from the state budget - if it is necessary to improve housing conditions.
