According to the ministry, in monetary terms, exports increased from $ 271 million to $ 397 million. If until 2015 the position of the main importer of Ukrainian meat and by-products was held by Russia, now the supply to the markets of countries - Europe and Asia.

Thus, for the first nine months of this year, most of all domestic meat products were purchased by Egypt (17.1%), the Netherlands (14.3%), Iraq (8.8%), Belarus (8.4%) and Azerbaijan (7.6% %).

Permanent big importers of Ukrainian meat are also Hong Kong, Germany, Georgia and Kazakhstan.

As previously reported in URA-Inform, Ukraine increased cigarette exports abroad by 4 percent. During January-September of the year 2017, the Ukrainian state traded cigarettes worth 5 billion hryvnia. In addition to everything else, Ukraine has increased the export of soft drinks.
