In the annexed Crimea at the moment, already 57 people are political prisoners. Such data during the press conference on the topic "Protection of human rights, as well as the issue of de-occupation of the Crimea" was given by Eskender Bariev - representative of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people.
According to him - at the moment 57 citizens are considered political prisoners in the Crimea. Following the release of Umerov and Chiygoz, there were also a number of arrests. Now we need to distinguish between the concepts of "political prisoner" and "a person susceptible to harassment" - added Bariev.
