Simultaneously with the appearance of the iPhone X in the stores in the App Store, the Great on iPhone X section was added with applications and games adapted specifically for this device.

Some developers have simply updated the application interface, providing a screen aspect ratio of 18: 9 and a cutout at its top. Others approached the update more thoroughly and added new features to their applications. For example, Darkroom and Halide photo editors have HEIF format support, and ProCam 5 now can shoot photos in portrait mode with a front camera (with a modified background). Plex player received HEVC-video support (H. 265), and applications 1Password, Dashlane and Day One can now be unlocked with Face ID.

To hope that all developers optimize applications for use on the iPhone X, it's not worth it, but the most popular ones will surely be updated and will receive full support for this device.
