In the near future, the main owner of Yugra, Alexei Khotin, is going to settle with the affected depositors with money from his own funds. In the event that the credit organization is returned a license, it will pay to all individuals whose deposits exceed 1.4 million rubles, about 16.6 billion rubles. This was told by the ex-head of the bank Dmitry Shilyaev at a meeting with the initiative group of investors. The insured event with the bank "Yugra", from which the Central Bank withdrew its license on July 28, became the largest for the period of clearing the banking system of the Russian Federation. The Bank was one of the 30 largest Russian credit institutions by assets. DIA estimated the total amount of payments of insurance compensation to depositors of Yugra of 169.2 billion rubles. As the main reasons for the revocation of the license, the Central Bank of Russia named the financing of the projects of the beneficiaries of Ugra at the expense of raised funds of individuals (the share of such loans was almost 90%), the lack of adequate reserves, the repeated application of supervisory measures and the violation of restrictions imposed by the bank. The Central Bank earlier said that the difference between the assets and liabilities of the bank "Yugra" as of September 8 was 86.1 billion rubles. "We also look forward to supporting our depositors in court and society, of course, we will continue to defend the legality of our rights and the rights of all investors in court," RIA Novosti quotes Shilyaeva as saying.. In addition, it is planned to compensate funds to legal entities-bank lenders. Again, the shareholder is ready to restore everything in full when returning a license. At the same time, Shilyaev stressed that the former leadership of Ugra will continue to defend the legitimacy of its claims and the rights of depositors, who so far have been deprived of the opportunity to receive their funds back under the provisional administration.
Businessman Alexei Khotin owns the main stake in the bank.
He controls 52.5% of Ugra's capital.
