Russian oppositionist Aleksey Navalny said that he will sue Vladimir Putin and the administration of the Russian president. The reason was the refusal of local authorities to coordinate rallies in different cities of the country.

According to Navalny, the local authorities "act in an organized, synchronous and explicit direction from Moscow". "We will demand interrogation of witness-officials and we will prove that all these illegal instructions were given personally by Putin, no one else simply could not do it," Navalny wrote in his blog.

Navalny said that recently, city administrations have stopped coordinating rallies, in connection with which it was decided to hold actions in private territory and in private premises.

The first such action took place on October 29 in Tambov: one of the local businessmen provided a site near the shopping center. November 4 in Irkutsk will be a rally, the site for which provided the owner of the furniture center.

Alexei Navalny is going to run for presidency in the 2018 elections. Since September 2017 he has been holding regular rallies in various cities of Russia.
