According to the state border protection authorities, the control will be carried out at all checkpoints, with respect to foreigners and stateless persons, especially from countries at risk.

In particular, they will focus on additional control over foreigners during their arrival in Ukraine. The measures will actively involve service dogs and use technical means of control.

In case of detection of suspicious persons, border guards will initiate personal inspections in conjunction with GFS representatives.

And also to involve SBU employees to carry out an in-depth inspection of all vehicles without exception, on which such persons enter Ukraine.

As previously reported in URA-Inform, Ukraine intends to strengthen the protection of the state border with Russia. The Security Service of Ukraine, the National Police and the State Border Service were instructed to strengthen the antiterrorist and counter-intelligence regime.
