The malefactor was imprisoned by one of the SIZOs of the territory of the Luhansk region, which was not controlled by the Ukrainian administration. The criminal was detained at the moment when he, having freed himself from prison, returned home.

In his cell, he wrote down false messages that sent by SMS with a request to transfer the amount of money to a certain account. The man also terrorized Ukrainian citizens by phone, reporting the arrest of their relatives, and in the guise of a "loyal investigator" offered to solve the problem on the spot. He managed to draw from the pockets of credulous citizens about one million hryvnia.

During the searches in his cell, 20 mobile phones, Wi-Fi router, flash cards, narcotic substances.

As reported in "URA-Inform", the Ukrainian cyberpolicy has already managed to create some recommendations for those enterprises to block Internet resources.
