According to him, after monitoring 16 national radio stations for compliance with the requirements of the law on language quotas, no violations were found.
It is noted that the largest share of Ukrainian songs is on the air of Krajina FM, as well as Radio Luch, Radio Culture and Ukrainian Radio.
On average, the share of songs in Ukrainian on the other 12 network radio stations was 32 percent, which suggests that broadcasters are ready to increase from November 8 quotas from 25 to 30 percent.
And the share of transmission in the state language in these radio stations is on average 80.8%, whereas the law requires 50%. According to the new bill from November 8 - 55%.

As previously reported in URA-Inform, in Ukraine came into effect the law 2054-VIII on language quotas on television. The corresponding bill obliges broadcasters to bring a share of content in the state language. On national channels up to 75 percent, and on the airs of regional and local TV companies - up to 60 percent.
