In September 2017, Xiaomi for the first time in its history has delivered more than 10 million smartphones around the world and committed to maintain a record level in the next three months.

In October 2017 the Chinese vendor kept his promise and again conquered the ten-million mark. On the positive news for the company on its page in the social network Weibo wrote the head of Xiaomi Lei Jun (Lei Jun), reports GSMArena. Also, the top manager reminded fans of Xiaomi products about the November 1 sale of the Mi 5X model, in other countries known as Mi A1.

Xiaomi intends to deliver in 2017 90 million of its smartphones, which will be the highest achievement for the history of the company. Lei Jun also expects that in 2018 his company will overcome the milestone in 100 million devices.

The company expects to achieve this goal through such fast-growing markets as India. According to the analytical company Counterpoint, in the third quarter of 2017, this country outstripped the United States and broke into the second place in the world in sales of communicators after China.

In July-September, more than 84 million smartphones entered India, which is a record for this market. Almost half of this volume - 45% - fell to the share of Samsung and Xiaomi, with the Chinese vendor lagging behind the leader by only 1%. Xiaomi experts estimated the contribution at 22%, and also noted that the top three most popular smartphones in India were occupied by Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Redmi 4 and Redmi 4 A.
