According to him, a joint effort from Panama to Ukraine sent Kaskiv, who is suspected of taking over in 2012 in collusion with other people with the means of the State Budget of Ukraine for the amount of about 7.5 million hryvnia.

Now he is in the Main Investigation Department of the GPU and investigative actions are being conducted with him. This is the first case of extradition of a former official in Ukraine. But not the last one, - the Prosecutor General of Ukraine assured.

Recall, in August 2016, the Prosecutor General's Office reported the detention of Kaskiv Panamanian law enforcers.

As reported URA-Inform, the court of Panama arrested the former Ukrainian official for 40 days. Last September, the Panamanian court elected Kaskiv a measure of restraint in the form of a pledge of 600 thousand dollars. Already in October 2016 Kaskiv made a pledge and left the prison.
