In the match between Toluca and Monarkas in the Mexican Championship, the referee added 3 minutes to the second half, but in the end the teams played all 11. Already in the added time yellow cards were given to Fernando Uribe (Toluca) and Mario Osuna (Monarkas).

On the 11th minute of added time Toluca with a score of 0: 1 was given the right to a penalty. The ball was approached by Pablo Barrientos, who played in Europe under the direction of Oleg Blokhin in FC Moscow, and also for Katanju.

Sebastian Sosa repelled the blow of Pablo from 11 meters, and finishing Barrientos no longer mattered - the judge gave a whistle on the end of the match.

The rules read: "Penalty can be broken and completed at the end of half time, match or extra-inning. In the added time, a penalty is considered completed when the ball enters the goal, stops the movement, goes beyond the field line or is touched by any other player (including the beat), with the exception of the goalkeeper of the defending team. Also, the arbiter can stop the game for a foul on the goalkeeper or the player of the defending team. If the player from the defending team is fouled and the penalty was not realized, the strike should be executed again ".
