Today, gusts are expected to be 17-22 meters per second, and in the western, southern regions and Priazovie gusts in places can reach 25-30 meters per second.

At the same time, starting with the western regions, snowstorms are approaching Ukraine with the transition to wet snow, and in the western part snow cover can be formed and the air temperature can drop to 6 degrees below zero. In connection with the expected heavy precipitation in the Carpathians, there is a threat of mudflow formation.

The State Emergency Council warns that rainwater is expected to rise above the current levels: on the rivers of Transcarpathia by 0.5-1.5 meters, in the lower reaches of Borzhava, Latoritsy, on Tis from the Great Bychkov Gulf to Viloka to 2.0 meters, and on the remaining rivers of the Carpathians by 0.2-1.0 meters.

On October 30-31, an increase in water levels by 0.1-0.5 meters is expected at the tributaries of Pripyat in Lviv, Volyn, Rivne and Zhytomyr regions. At the same time, the department was assured that the flood does not exceed the limits of the channels and there is no threat of negative consequences.

Rains are expected in all areas, and in Western, and in some places and in Vinnitsa, Zhytomyr, Cherkassy and Kirovograd regions, with wet snow, and in the highlands of the Carpathians - a blizzard and ice.
