In Mariupol, the number of scammers and their victims is increasing every day. And recently, "bait" scams caught a 24-year-old guy.

According to the press service of the police, he received a message on the mobile phone allegedly from one of the car dealers with information that the guy won the car. For details of the win it was necessary to apply to the specified number. The operator said that to get the car it was necessary to pay the tax - 30 thousand hryvnia.

The delighted "lucky" immediately transferred the sum. When he had already realized that he had been deceived, he applied to law enforcement bodies.

On this fact criminal proceedings were instituted on h. 1 st. 190 "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 3 years.
