According to the information of the Ukrainian media, the participants of the march demanded to repeal the criminal responsibility for keeping a small amount of cannabis without the purpose of marketing. Thus, activists consider this an abnormal situation and are asked to replace criminal responsibility with administrative (fine).

Another requirement was for the Ukrainian government to approve the procedure for the use of cannabis for scientific purposes according to Art.. 20 of the Law of Ukraine on Narcotic Drugs. In the opinion of all these people, this will finally allow scientific research on cannabinoids as analgesics and other medicines.

We add that the very rule of law in Kiev guarded about 10 policemen.
