A beta version of the Opera 49 browser for personal computers was released, which received a number of new features that are said to make the process of sharing web content more fun and personalized.
It's about implementing the screenshot editor. Now users can not only take pictures of the entire screen or the desired part of it, but also add their own content to the image.
The tool works as follows. To take a screen shot, you need to click on the camera icon in the sidebar and then select the part of the image of interest. After that you can start editing the screenshot. Users will be able to add self-images, make pictures or underline text, add emo stickers, insert arrows of different sizes and colors to attract attention to something, and blur the image to hide any personal information.
After the editing is completed, the screenshot can be sent via one of the instant messengers integrated into the Opera, or you can save the file on the computer's drive.
Among other innovations of the beta version of Opera 49 is the built-in side panel of the VK messenger (in addition to Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp and Telegram), a new quick setting bar for the browser, and improved quality of web content viewing on HiDPI screens.
