The Moscow District Court of Kharkiv rendered a verdict to the driver of the tram, which became the culprit of a head-on collision with a large number of injured passengers. The corresponding document was published in the Single Register of Judgments.

Recall that in August 2015 at the intersection of Prospect Traktorostroiteley and Saltovskoe highway forehead in the fore collided two trams. From the impact, various injuries were received by 15 people, including both public transport drivers. One of the victims addressed the court, "earned" a fracture of the right cheekbone, a lacerated wound of the face and hemorrhages on the left leg.

As the police investigators established, the cause of the accident was the actions of a female driver who was not convinced of the safety of the turn, and also accepted payment from passengers at the time of the traffic. The accused herself partially acknowledged her guilt and confirmed that she had handed over the transfer of four hundred hryvnias before the accident. But, in her opinion, the driver of the second tram was also to blame for the collision.

During the trial, the woman asked to apply for her amnesty, since her detention includes two young children with neurological diseases, and apologized to the victims. The court heeded its arguments and sentenced the former tram driver to arrest for a period of six months with exemption from punishment under the Law of Ukraine "On Amnesty in 2016".

In addition, she has to compensate the injured Kharkov woman in the amount of 5000 hryvnias. At the moment, the verdict has not entered into force, there is a period of appeal.
