The Kyiv Economic Court partially satisfied Oschadbank's lawsuit against the company of the ESU businessman Rinat Akhmetov, who is the majority shareholder of Ukrtelecom. The court decided to recover UAH 851 million from the ESU on bonds. This is stated in the court's decision.

The court refused to recover from the defendant UAH 35.8 million penalty for delay in meeting the obligation at the face value of bonds.

As reported, the ESU, in turn, filed an application for deferred payment of the debt before August 1, 2022. , explaining this by the lack of funds for the execution of the court. Also in the ESU said that the immediate execution of a court decision could lead to bankruptcy of the company.

As a result, the court decided to postpone the payment of the debt for one year from the moment of its entry into legal force.
