It is reported that a group of persons carried out illegal storage, and then sold petroleum products for personal enrichment.

The border guards found 138 tons of diesel fuel in containers, as well as 23 tons of gasoline. Fuel was saved in places not intended for storage of such raw materials.

Attackers are threatened with Article 204 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and imprisonment up to 10 years.

Experts argue that since early 2015, more than 20 percent of Ukrainian filling stations have started using counterfeit fuel, and the number of manufacturers of falsified fuel is not controlled by anyone.

Experts advise buying gasoline only from proven brands, even if for a high price.
