People who went out on the street demanded, in particular, that British Prime Minister Teresa May seek a closer relationship with the European Union. According to the police, the action was peaceful and without detentions.

The demonstration was timed to coincide with the congress of the ruling Conservative Party, which began in Manchester on October 1. It will take another three days, the congress participants will also discuss Brexit.
