Photo Snapster from the social network "VKontakte", which was to compete with Instagram, announced the closure of the project. This is stated in the official community of Snapster.

The application will continue to function as a photo editor, but it will disconnect its "rooms" - the so-called groups in which users could share their pictures.

"Snapster was launched as a bold experiment. We decided that it would be cool to create your own filters right on your phone and share them with your friends. We have gained useful experience for the development of the services of the main application "VKontakte", - the developers in the farewell publication.
