Karpinsky City Court on the basis of evidence rendered a sentence in the criminal case against two cooks of the Regional State stationary state social service institution of the social protection system "Karpinsky orphanage". They were found guilty under part 1 of Article 236 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of sanitary and epidemiological rules, which caused by accident the mass illness of people), the press service of the regional prosecutor's office.

On March 30, 2016, women, while at work in the premises of the boarding house of a boarding home, casually reacted to the performance of their official duties for observing sanitary and epidemiological rules and regulations. Both cooks in violation of the sanitary rules performed simultaneous work in the framework of various technological processes in the preparation of lunch dishes. In fact, they carried out work with both food raw materials and finished products.

As a result of the violation of the sanitary rules, the actions of the cooks caused health damage to the employee and 32 pupils of the Karpinsky orphanage. All of them have a disease - acute salmonellosis.

The accused guilty of the commission of the crime were recognized in full, the criminal case was examined in a special court procedure. The sentence of the court sentenced the defendants in the form of 6 months of restraint of liberty.
