The government at the meeting on September 27 approved the distribution of the subvention from the state budget to local budgets in the amount of 115,997,295 thousand. hryvnia for the payment of cash compensation to obtain living quarters for the families of the deceased, as well as for persons with disabilities of the I-II group defined by the Law of Ukraine "On the Status of War Veterans, Guarantees for Their Social Protection", and those who have lost the functional capabilities of the lower extremities whose disability came as a result of injury, contusion, injury or disease, received with direct participation in the antiterrorist operation.

To date, in accordance with the orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 16. 03. 2017 No. 167-r and dated 07. 06. 2017 No. 375-r has already allocated the marked subvention to the total amount of 212,108.28 thousand. UAH in order to ensure payment of cash compensation to 265 persons of the specified category.

The adoption of the government's instruction will allow this year to additionally pay monetary compensation to 166 families of the deceased, persons with a disability of the I-II group and persons who have lost the functionality of the lower extremities that protected the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

The implementation of this order will contribute to improving the social protection of the above categories of the population by providing them with housing.
