This was reported by the Secretary of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Legislative Support of Law Enforcement Activity Anton Gerashchenko.

According to the minister, this information in the report of Amnesty International is untrue.

Ukrainian state corporation UkrainianMash, which has the right to export weapons, made a statement and, in addition, published its official response in English, which was provided a month ago by Amnesty International.

"In my opinion, Amnesty International acted very dishonestly, they had an official response from the Ukrainian state company, where all the facts were quoted," added Gerashchenko.

Also, Amnesty International asked a month ago whether such a contract really was and Ukraymash replied that there were negotiations in 2012-2013, but the contract was never realized.

As previously reported in URA-Inform, if the United States of America will supply weapons to Ukraine, Russian militants controlling the Donbas may send their weapons to other "zones".
