In the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts from September 25 to October 1 will be an "Inclusive Festival", which combines events for visitors with special needs and museum professionals. This is reported on the institution's website. The program of the event included Hamlet in sign language, plastic master classes with blind actors, classes with art critics of the museum, as well as lectures, concerts and film screenings. According to the organizers of the festival, the goal of the project is "to overcome physical and communicative barriers, as well as exchange of sensations, knowledge and impressions associated with visiting the museum for different categories of visitors". In addition, the institution will host a scientific and practical conference on the formation of an accessible environment in the museum space. In November 2016 in the Pushkin Museum there was an exhibition of tactile paintings for blind people.
