The word "educate" came in Russian from the Old Slavonic language, where it is derived from the nourishment - "nurture, feed".

This means that education begins. with power!.

First of all, we are talking about breast milk - the ideal food for a baby. For many centuries, mother's milk was the only food for very small children. Largely due to this, mankind not only survived, but also improved its gene pool.

In the second half of the XX century in all developed countries young mothers began to pay attention to milk formulas, the variety of which at that time reached its apogee, and their producers competed among themselves, whose product is better. Fortunately, already in the late 1970s, the World Health Organization, pediatricians and nutritionists sounded the alarm and encouraged parents not to deprive newborns of their mother's milk. Moreover, artificial feeding was called an "ecological catastrophe for humanity".

The age of up to a year is therefore called breastfeeding, that during this period there is nothing more valuable for the baby than the milk of his mother.

When a mother can not breast-feed a child.

There are women who can not or should not breastfeed their child.

there are reasons for this:.

kidney disease, heart disease, serious anemia, underweight mother;.

infection, diseases requiring treatment by means harmful to the child;.

AIDS in the mother, which can be transmitted with milk;.

drug use;.

excessive consumption of alcohol and coffee;.

aversion to breastfeeding,.

non-perception of lactose by the baby, phenylketonuria (inability of the child's organism to digest mother's milk);.

deformities of the child's oral cavity complicating breast sucking.

Lucky: my mother is suckling.

It is unlikely that someone will take to challenge the advantage of mother's milk over other nutritional formulas in feeding the children of the first year and, in particular, the first six months of the child's life.

The composition of breast milk is ideal for the digestive abilities of the baby, reinforcing them with ready-made enzymes.

Milk of mother contains in abundance highly active biocomponents, stimulating immunity and development of the child.

Children breastfed are less likely to have pulmonary, ear infections and urinary tract infections, develop gastroenteritis, allergic diseases.

Breastfeeding also significantly reduces the risk of sudden infant death syndrome. Finally, breastfeeding emotionally satiates both the mother and the child, contributing to the harmonization of their mental processes and beneficially influencing in general the health of both.
