Hockey club "Motorist" for the first time in season 17/18 won a dry victory in the home. "The drivers" were stronger than the Ufa "Salavat Yulaev" (4: 0).

The first period of the team was held on a collision course. Players attacking both clubs had several chances to open an account, but then the puck got into the frame of the gate, then goalkeepers got a chance to show their skills. In the second period, the guests were closer to the goal: first the referee canceled the puck slashed by Salavat's forward, and then the goalkeeper of Automobilist Yakub Kovar saved the team's goal during the shootout. Despite all the pressure from the guests, the "chauffeurs" were able to defend the second period and even answered with rare, but sharp counterattacks. From the start of the third game, Vladimir Krikunov's wards became more active and began to throw more often and more accurately on the opponent's goal.
