According to the prime minister, the Ukrainian state has every opportunity to become non-volatile in the coal industry.

Groisman hopes that the Cabinet will be able to develop a new program for the development of enterprises that will produce coal in the territory of Ukraine. He believes that American supplies may be temporary, but not eternal.

Earlier, the Ukrainian government found a way how to solve the problem of shortage of thermal coal for state thermal power plants. The shortage of coal from now on the country is imported from the USA. Two cargoes have already arrived at the port of "Southern".

Experts expect that the Ukrainian energy industry, according to the plan of officials, can completely switch to the use of coal gas brands or the burning of peat reserves.
