According to the results of the survey conducted in 15 countries of the world, the international consulting company Reputation Institute has made a rating of reputable companies, whose business demonstrates the greatest responsibility to society. Samsung Electronics showed the sharpest drop in the top 100 and took only 89 place, gaining 64.5 points. For comparison, a year earlier, the South Korean giant closed the twenty, and from 2013 it did not go below the 30th position of the rating.

Experts say the main reason for the fall of Samsung is the scandal surrounding its vice president and actual head Lee Jae-yong, who was recently sentenced to 5 years in prison for bribery and embezzlement of corporate funds. In addition, last year's Galaxy Note 7 fiasco and subsequent recall of the tablets also dealt a blow to the company's reputation.

In addition to Samsung in the list were two more representatives of South Korea: LG and Hyundai Motor scored 65.9 and 63.9 points and settled at 76 and 92 places respectively.

As for the leaders of the rating, they became the Danish toy manufacturer Lego and American IT corporations Microsoft and Google. Also in the top 10 included companies Walt Disney, BMW, Intel, Bosch, Cisco, Rolls-Royce Aerospace and Colgate-Palmolive.
