Stadium Besiktas in Istanbul will host the match for the UEFA Super Cup 2019.
The match for the UEFA Super Cup 2019, which will bring together the winners of the Champions League and the League of Europe, will be held August 14 at the stadium Besiktas in Istanbul.
Istanbul for the first time will take the match for the UEFA Super Cup. Earlier here were the finals of the UEFA Champions League (2005, Ataturk) and the UEFA Cup (2009, Sukru Saracoglu).
The decision to hold the final of the Europa League at the stadium Besiktas, which opened on April 11, 2016, was adopted at the meeting of the Executive Committee of UEFA.
Istanbul will take the baton from Prague (2013), Cardiff (2014), Tbilisi (2015), Trondheim (2016) and Skopje (2017), who hosted the UEFA Super Cup after he lost permanent residence in Monaco.
