Analysts predict that in 2020, this market will be estimated at 65 billion dollars, while by the end of this year the figure will be 40 billion.

The whole market of memory chips will also grow from 95 billion to 120 billion dollars by 2020. In addition, it is in 2020 that revenues from NAND memory sales will exceed revenues from sales of DRAM chips.

43% of NAND memory chips for this year will be on solid-state drives. Another 42% - on integrated drives in various devices. The share of the latter will also account for 43% of the world's DRAM.

The largest manufacturer of NAND memory will remain Samsung. According to the results of this year, the share of the Korean giant will be 37%, Toshiba will have 21%, WD - 14%, Micron - 13%, SK Hynix - 12%, and Intel - 3%.

Also, analysts predict that next year the share of SSD in computers will exceed the share of HDD for the first time, and by 2020 it will reach 76%. Solid-state drive deliveries by the same year will reach 241 million units, compared with 156 million in the current year.
