Scientists of Oxford University have found that milk is able to protect against the development of Alzheimer's disease - the initial stage of senile dementia.

This is promoted by vitamin B12, which reduces the risk of brain damage and which is rich in milk.

A study conducted by specialists showed that patients with a low level of this vitamin in the body are 2 times more likely to suffer from such injuries than those who do not lack B12.

According to Professor David Smith of Oxford, about half a liter of milk a day, even fat-free, can raise a very low level of vitamin B12 in the body.
