This Monday, September 18, at the request of journalists, assured the head of the meteorological forecasts department of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center Lyudmila Savchenko. According to her, in the coming days a devastating hurricane from Romania towards Ukraine will not move.

At the same time, deputy head of the department for interaction with the mass media of the State Emergency Council, Vladimir Ovsyanik, commenting on the information that appeared, explained that due to a powerful storm that took place in Romania, today deterioration of weather conditions in the western regions of Ukraine is expected.

At the same time, he assured that the forces and means of the State Emergency Service in full readiness for rendering assistance to the population.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, previously referring to the weather forecasters, it was reported that a hurricane is approaching Ukraine, as a result of which eight people died in Romania on the eve and about 70 were hospitalized.
