The US and Russia are discussing ways to resolve the conflict in the Donbass, and Russian President Vladimir Putin may make proposals on this issue in the near future.

According to the source, in the near future a breakthrough is expected on the Donbass issue. However, concrete steps are not yet called.

According to him, between the presidential aide Vladislav Surkov and the US special representative for Ukraine Kurt Volker who held talks on the Donbass, good personal relations were established.
