The total amount received from privatization was 3.6 billion hryvnia. This was announced on Tuesday, September 12, by First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv.

He also noted that, unfortunately, privatization is not going at the pace that the government imagined itself. The plan for proceeds from privatization for the year was to amount to 17 billion hryvnia, "Kubiv explained, adding that currently in Ukraine there are 1,321 enterprises banned for privatization.

At the same time, the vice-premier expressed the opinion that only 378 state enterprises and objects that should function as state.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, the National Council of Reforms in the meeting today, September 12, 2017, supported the bill "On the privatization of state property".
