De Boer is far from the first: Coaches who did not stay long in their clubs

We present a list of mentors who have worked in their clubs for less than three months.

Recall that yesterday from the post of head coach Crystal Palace was dismissed Frank De Boer, who spent in the team only 77 days.

Frank De Boer - 85 days in Inter (2017) Dutch specialist before Crystal Palace led Inter Milan. And that experience also turned out to be depressing for De Boer. For less than three months with the team, he managed to spend 14 matches with her, of which exactly half lost.

Michael Appleton - 65 days in Blackpool (2013) Appleton replaced as coach John Holloway, for which he left his current club - Portsmouth. However, in Applepool Appleton did not linger. After the opening of the transfer window, Michael wanted to strengthen his team, but the club management refused to conduct transfers, which was not liked by a specialist who already on January 11 was introduced as Blackburn's head coach.

Bryan Clough - 44 days in Leeds United (1974). Even before bringing Nottingham Forest to triumph in the two Champions Cup, the legendary English coach was appointed head coach of Leeds. Appointment of Clough as the head coach of the Peacock became a shock to all because of the history of the relationship between the mentor and the players of the club. Previously, Brian constantly criticized Leeds, and the players called the simulators and charlatans, the game of the whole team - rotten and limited.

Players Leeds hated him and did not want to play "for the coach". Clough led Leeds for 44 days, and not finding an understanding with the players and coaches who worked before his arrival in the club.

Leeds won one match, lost three times and tied three times under the guidance of Clough, after which it was decided that Brian is not able to cope with the team, and the leadership dismissed him.

Steve Koppel - 33 days in Manchester City (1996) After spending a bit more than a month in the camp of the Townspeople, the former Manchester United player referred to the pressure of the robots and left Man City. After 14 years, Coppel headed Bristol City, and for four months with the club held only 2 matches, since he was appointed at the end of April, and after the start of the next season, resigned.

Paul Gascoigne - 33 days in Kettering Town (2005) One of the most talented English players in history and an alcoholic in life, tried to start a coaching career at the Kettering Conference Conference Club.

At the first training session, Gascoigne showed the players the game of the French national team with the 1998 World Cup, and said: "That's how we will play". They could not.

Leroy Rosignor - 10 minutes in Torquay United (2007) In 2007, Torquay United's club embraced the crisis. Due to financial problems the club for the first time in the history of the left fourth English division that led to the dismissal of head coach. In search of a new helmsman, Lera Rosienor, the father of ex-defender Fulham and Hull City Liam Rosenor, who had previously worked with the club, was appointed, but after 10 minutes he was terminated by the contract. This happened because of a change in the owner of the club, which occurred 10 minutes after the appointment of Rosenor.
