As noted, the ceremony was held on the basis of the International Center for Peacemaking and Security (ICMP) of the National Academy of the Land Forces named after Hetman Petro Sagaidachny, in the village of Starychy, Yavoriv district.

Rapid Trident-2017 will last two weeks. Maneuvers will be held at various sites of the military training ground.

The celebrations were attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Ukraine Marie Jovanovich, Head of the National Army Academy Lieutenant-General Pavel Tkachuk and others.

By the way, this year the training will take into account the activities of the Joint Multinational Group on NATO Standards with the involvement of foreign instructors from the United States, Canada, Britain, Lithuania, Estonia and Poland.

Participants will improve their knowledge and skills in joint tactical actions in the course of patrolling, escorting, countering improvised explosive devices and the like.
