From 8 to 10 September, the residents of Odessa have the opportunity to spend the weekend in Dutch and hear the music of the Netherlands. In Kirche for three days there will be concerts in the framework of the project "Music of the Dutch winds".
The project is opened by a concert of the lyuntist, composer-minimalist Josef Van Wissem. It is known that in 2010. received an award at the Cannes Film Festival for the best original music for the film "Only Lovers Survive" (dir. Jim Jarmusch, starring Tilda Swinton).
Josef has the only black lute in the world - a tool of black color, made specifically for him in order in the Baroque style. The composer is known for his non-standard approach to using the lute instrument, typical for the Renaissance and Baroque epochs, but more than unexpected in modern music. Despite the sophisticated electronic processing of sound, Van Wissem largely remained faithful to the traditional timbre, resonance and technique of playing the lute.
On Saturday, September 9th, a non-standard combination of harpsichord and mandolin accompanied by soprano, fascinating stories and animated Dutch painting will sound. All this is in the concert of the ensemble of ancient music Pracht-Ensemble with the program "Music of Holland and not only ..." Andrey Praht (harpsichord), Irina Lukyanchuk (mandalina), Elena Richter (soprano).

The musician was born in 1947. in the family of a Protestant priest. His childhood was the same as that of all children born after the end of World War II. At an early age I met the body. He studied at the Amsterdam Conservatory with Evold Coimann - this famous Danish organist made a huge impact on the professional development of the master. In Vienna he studied with Anton Heiler - the best specialist in the music of Bach of his time. Later he was a music teacher at the Pedagogical Institute. Played on a variety of bodies in the temples of Holland.
