Ukrainian midfielder Yevhen Konoplyanka admitted that he had good offers from other clubs.

At the end of last season, the position of Konoplyanki in Schalke seemed very bad, especially after a frank interview, in which Eugene severely criticized the then coach of the team Marcus Weinzirl.

It was expected that in the summer the Ukrainian could leave Gelsenkirchen, but with the arrival of a new coach in the team, Domeniko Tedesco, Evgeny's affairs went quite well.

As the Linnet himself now admitted, he had offers from several serious clubs.

"Interest from Lazio, Inter, Stoke City and Galatasaray? I had suggestions, because if the old coach was left, I would have to leave," said Evgeni.

"I am very grateful that the team was headed by a new coach, after which things went for the better".
