Age-related macular degeneration is the most common cause of blindness in the elderly.

It turns out that taking drugs containing vitamins C, E, beta carotene in combination with zinc oxide (or therapy with only one zinc) can prevent the development of blindness in old age or significantly slow its development.

Researchers from the Center for the Study of Eye Disease (Age-Related Eye Disease Research Group) have proved that the preventive use of vitamin preparations in combination with zinc reduces the incidence of blindness by 25%.

Preventing premature vision loss will significantly improve the quality of life of the elderly.
