The best tennis player of Ukraine Elina Svitolina is currently among the three contenders for the title of the first racket of the world.

Following the results of the first rounds of the US Open in the struggle for the first line of the WTA rating there were Spanish Garbinje Mugurusa, the current first racket of the world Karolina Plishkova, and also our tennis player.

At the moment the favorite is Mugurusa, who, like Svitolina, will only gain points in New York, as she did not reach the second week of the tournament before.

Svitolina, to lead the Women's Tour, it is now necessary to reach at least the semi-finals. At the same time the Ukrainian needs Mugurusa's departure in the 4th round, and that Plishkova does not reach the final.

If Mugurusa passes into the quarterfinals, then Svitolina will need at least a finale.
