"Badaton" - a new drug, which was created by Buryat researchers based on an extract of leaves of bass and a ferment based on koumiss.

This combination, according to Buryat doctors, is able to treat the so-called drug-resistant forms of tuberculosis. Previously, this type of disease was referred to as incurable forms, and the maintenance of patients needed considerable funds. The created drug is cheap, but there are no long-term studies confirming the positive effect.

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Buryatia deducts funds for the purchase of the concentrate of this symbiotic starter; clinics in their own way carry out the collection of plant raw materials; and, finally, concentrate from the leaves of badan is produced free of charge in the Buryat Science Center.
