Wenger: Lemar decides to stay in Monaco

Arsenal head coach Arsene Wenger said that the midfielder of Monaco, Tom Lemar himself refused to move to the camp of the "Gunners".

The London club tried to get the midfielder of the French national team Tom Lemar on the last day of the transfer window, offering Monegasques 100 million euros.

At one time, information appeared that Monaco agreed to release Lemar to Arsenal, but, as a result, the transition did not take place.

As the head coach of the "Gunners" Arsene Wenger, the transfer broke down due to the choice of the player himself.

"Lemar decided to stay in Monaco," Wenger said in an interview with beIN Sports.
