The excursion includes a story about the history of the discovery of the first emerald in Russia, a brief mineralogy of emerald copies with samples of minerals, a presentation of raw natural emeralds in the rock, a visit to a closed enterprise and an examination of an emerald quarry 125 meters deep.

"Participants will learn how workers descend into the mine, how emeralds are extracted and how underground trains with emerald ore run. They will also learn to distinguish natural stones from artificial stones and find out why products from them have different value and value, "the organizers of the excursion tell.

They say that if lucky, the mine's guests will be able to find beautiful Ural minerals like quartz, molebdenite, serpentite, fluorite, rock crystal. But to find and remove from the territory of the enterprise emerald - will not work.

"According to Russian law, all precious and semiprecious stones found on the dumps of the Malyshevsky deposits are the property of the state and must be transferred to the employees of the plant. However, no one bans looking at them and making memorable pictures, "say project organizers.
