Southampton midfielder Jordi Clasie will join the Belgian Bruges on loan until the end of the season.

Midfielder Southampton Jordi Clasie is undergoing a medical examination in Bruges before completing the transition to a Belgian club on a one-year lease, reports Sky Sports.

The 26-year-old Netherlands player moved to Southampton from Feyenoord two years ago. However, he is not included in the plans of the new manager of "saints" Mauricio Pellegrino, so the club decided to put him on a transfer.

Last season Clasie played only 12 matches in the Premier League in the starting lineup, and four more times went on to replace, marking one goal and one assists.
