The average salary in Ukraine decreased by 21 hryvna

This is 0.3% less than in June of the same year. Such data on Tuesday, August 29, was published by the State Statistical Service.

At the same time, the department noted that in June 2017. The average salary of Ukrainians was 7 360 hryvnia. Thus, for a month the salary decreased by 21 hryvna.

At the same time, as compared to July 2016, the average salary increased by 36.6%. Real wages in July this year compared with June decreased by 0.5%, compared to July 2016 - increased by 17.2%.

At the same time, the State Statistics Committee stressed that the highest average wage was traditionally recorded among aviation industry employees. Here, on average, 33 233 hryvnia per employee.

In second place are financiers and insurance agents - UAH 13,521. Employees of the information and telecommunications industries received on average 11 822 UAH. At technicians and scientists - 10 94 grivnas.

The average salary in agriculture is 6,293 hryvnia, in industry - 7,785 hryvnia. The lowest pay for mail and courier employees is UAH 3,763. By regions, the largest average salary is traditionally in Kiev - 11 412 hryvnia, in second place Donetsk region - 7 887 hryvnia. The lowest average salary in the Ternopil region - 5 678 UAH.

The State Statistics Service also recalled that the data presented without taking into account the temporarily occupied territory of the Crimea, the city of Sevastopol and part of the zone of the antiterrorist operation.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, as of August 1, the total amount of arrears in payment of wages in Ukraine decreased by 0.6%. At the same time, from the beginning of the year the debt increased by 32.7%. So now the debt is 2.377 billion hryvnia.
