The Sverdlovsk Interregional Nature Protection Prosecutor's Office, based on information from the media, organized a check on the mass death of fish in the Iset River water area in the village of Bolshoy Istok of the Sysertsky urban district.

"Specialists of the State Control, Supervision, Protection of Aquatic Biological Resources and their Habitats in the Sverdlovsk Region of the Nizhneeobsk Territorial Administration of the Federal Fishery Agency, as well as specialists from the Urals Department for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring. Specialists will be selected samples of fish and water for the conduct of relevant research, "- told the prosecutor's office.

Based on the results of the research, if there are grounds, the prosecutor's office will take measures of the prosecutor's response.
