Someone cares for their appearance at home, and someone, visiting once or twice a week a beauty salon, does not consider this an excess. Salon procedures come into the lives of many women in the same way as a gym, shops and transportation. The news about pregnancy imposes a ban on certain procedures, while others allow you to continue. This is especially true of procedures that are not of a one-time nature, but of course.
EPILATION.
Many cosmetic procedures or in general are contraindicated to future mothers, or should be applied with limited and cautious. We have already talked about hair coloring, manicure-pedicure, but there are other procedures that are also systemic in nature. These include, for example, combating unwanted hair on the body, which in normal condition can become a real problem for a woman, but what if she "overtakes" a future mother? Ways to combat excessive vegetation are many - maybe you can choose the best one?.
SHAVING.
It used to be that hair will grow even faster if shaved. In fact, the rate of their growth does not depend on the method of removal, but the structure changes - the hair becomes more rigid, coarse, and therefore more noticeable. As on the man's face, the "thorns" break through the next day, no matter how much advertising tries, promoting to the market a variety of foams "for" and lotions "after", promising slowing hair growth. If you connect with shaving and do not see anything terrible in this - you just have to do it regularly, like washing your head. For a better slip of the razor, it's better to use a special gel that, unlike a simple soap, does not dry the skin, and after the procedure - a softening lotion without alcohol or balm to prevent.
Excessive dryness and flaky skin. There can be only one contraindication: too tender and sensitive skin that is irritated by the razor (even the most expensive and safe, which others provides a really comfortable procedure), and from all the means used before and after shaving. It's not just ugly, wounds and cuts can become inflamed, becoming a gateway to infection, and need long treatment, not to mention that it will be a hindrance in solving the underlying problem: hair will continue to grow.
Depilation tools. During pregnancy, you can use depilatories, you just need to choose a composition with a non-irritating odor. It can be a cream, a powder that is diluted to a paste state, a composition in the form of a resin or wax that requires warming up, special strips for depilation. The procedure is quite possible to conduct at home independently, even the first time - you only need to carefully read the instructions. The simplest means is a cream that is applied with a special spatula (usually attached). After the cream is on the right time on the skin, it is washed off with hair. Some products require "passing" a spatula on the skin against hair growth for better removal. For sensitive skin - better not think of. By the way, some "treat" depilatory cream and heels, and coarsened places of the foot - if there are no cracks and wounds. The skin softens, and it is not necessary to steam out the legs (which is not shown during pregnancy) and rub the heel with pumice stone or peel with a pedicure knife.
Means that need to be heated require more agility in handling. If you overheat them, you can get burned, and if you do not heat up enough - your hair can go unevenly. "Tearing off" movement should be fast and accurate, against the direction of hair growth, but not upwards, which causes unnecessary pain. If there is not enough experience and the fear is felt before the procedure - it is better not to conduct it.
All funds that did not even cause previous allergies, with the onset of pregnancy, require additional testing. Usually they are applied to the inside of the forearm.
